we hold on. we hold on tightly. it exists naturally. it existed naturally. we try to keep it by synthesizing natural conditions. we want it to exist beyond it’s limited time. we don’t want it as it is, here no longer, but as it was. thus we don’t want it. what we wanted was its effect, what it had to offer. but it offered us the beauty of time and the diamond of a rare and wholly unique experience. it is rare because it is unique. it is unique and rare because of it’s function in time and it’s consequent passing, not in spite of it. it offered, we didn’t want to pay, and subsequently tried to take it by force. life with a gun to its head, our desires or else.
